I’m Sumit Nirmal, Co-founder & CEO of PeerHire, a decentralized freelancing platform built for the next generation of digital workers.

I’m a self-taught full stack and blockchain developer turned founder, building a startup from my 2BHK flat with one mission: Make work accessible, trusted, and borderless for students and early-career professionals.

At PeerHire, I lead product, engineering, and growth, driving smart contract development, designing synthetic payment infrastructure, and managing a high-performance remote team. We’re executing fast, operating lean, and building for scale without distractions like office overhead or outside noise. Every decision is intentional. Every sprint is mission-driven.

Before PeerHire, I worked as a Software Engineer at Cograd, where I built scalable web and mobile apps (React, React Native), including education ERP systems and the Mera Bachha app.

I’ve led frontend development at Density Exchange for a blockchain-based cricket derivative platform, and previously founded Gograbmoney, a CPA-based affiliate product.

These days, I’m obsessed with decentralization, AI agents, and how code can break down barriers to opportunity.
