I’m Megha Garg Poddar, Founder & Creative Director of House of Megha Garg— a contemporary luxury label rooted in Kolkata.
A NIFT Kolkata graduate with a graduate diploma from Central Saint Martins, London, I launched my label in 2012 through Lakmē Fashion Week Gen-Next. Since then, my work has earned global recognition, including the Iron A’ Design Award, Novum Design Award, Design Hero, and a Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs (MSME, Govt. of India & FICCI) honour.
At House of Megha Garg, we create refined occasion wear where craft, drape, and modern aesthetics come together with intention. Our Kolkata flagship reflects this philosophy—quiet luxury with a strong identity.
Beyond design, I’m deeply invested in nurturing talent—teaching at NIFT, mentoring young designers, and contributing to platforms like the HULT Prize.
Beyond fashion, I am a spiritual seeker and author of “Warrior Soul”, a collection of my poems exploring strength, vulnerability, and transformation.
My vision is clear: to build House of Megha Garg into a globally recognized luxury brand driven by innovation, craft, and purpose.
