The Opportunity
Are you a creative storyteller who can switch seamlessly between a keyboard and a timeline? We are looking for a versatile Content Writer + Video Editor to join the core branding team at StartupLanes. This role is perfect for a digital native who understands how to stop the scroll with sharp copy and high-impact visuals. You will help amplify our global presence across 56 cities, working directly on professional content that supports recruitment and investor outreach.
Your Responsibilities
- Scripting & Writing: Draft engaging thought-leadership posts for LinkedIn, recruitment ads, and corporate brochure content.
- Video Production: Edit high-quality video content for startup Demo Days, internal training, and social media campaigns.
- Platform Optimization: Tailor content formats for different platforms, ensuring our "Series Round" opportunities and brand narrative are communicated clearly.
- Visual Storytelling: Convert complex financial data and "DD-PRO" due diligence frameworks into easy-to-digest visual narratives.
- Collaboration: Work with our remote team to maintain a consistent voice and aesthetic for StartupLanes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1. Creative Content & Copywriting
- Superior written English skills with the ability to write with "emotional rigor."
- Experience in professional content creation for LinkedIn and business branding.
- Ability to simplify technical jargon (AI, Fintech, Venture Capital) into engaging stories.
2. Video Editing Proficiency
- Strong grip on editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar).
- Ability to add professional transitions, text overlays, and audio cues to enhance engagement.
- Experience in creating short-form (Reels/Shorts) and long-form corporate videos.
3. Digital Adaptability
- Interest in the strategic application of AI for content generation and editing efficiency.
- Resilience in managing multiple creative projects in a fast-paced, digital-first environment.
