Are you a charismatic communicator who thrives in front of the camera? We are looking for a high-energy YouTube Host + Actor to become the digital face of StartupLanes. This role is designed for creative individuals who can blend professional authority with an engaging personality to represent our global ecosystem spanning 56 cities. You will help us disrupt the venture capital world through video, all while maintaining a perfect work-life harmony from your own home studio.
Your Responsibilities
- On-Camera Hosting: Present high-quality video content for our YouTube channel, including startup Demo Day highlights and investor updates.
- Character Acting: Perform in scripted digital advertisements and recruitment skits to support our global branding and outreach.
- Interviewing: Host video calls and "AMA Sessions" with visionary founders and elite angel investors.
- Script Collaboration: Work with our content team to simplify complex financial narratives into engaging, emotional stories for a digital audience.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the firm professionally in a digital-first environment, building an "unshakable" presence within the startup community.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1. Screen Presence & Performance
- Natural ability to influence and persuade an audience through video.
- Exceptional acting skills with the ability to deliver scripted lines naturally and with high energy.
- Confidence in hosting live sessions and representing a professional firm in a digital environment.
2. Communication Excellence
- Superior verbal English skills with clear articulation.
- Ability to translate complex "Venture Capital" jargon into clear, relatable content.
- Experience in public speaking, theater, or digital content creation (YouTube/Instagram).
3. Technical & Creative Rigor
- Basic understanding of home-studio setups (lighting, audio, and framing).
- Ability to take direction and iterate on performances to meet branding standards.
- Interest in the strategic application of AI in media and video production.
