E-commerce logistics startup, Delhivery has raised $277 million in a fresh funding round led by American firm Fidelity.

This round is suspected to be the last before the company launches its IPO which is planned for later this year. The latest funding will take the startup’s valuation to $3 Billion.

The round also saw participation from other big players like Chimera based out of Abu Dhabi, Singapore’s GICand, and the UK’s Baillie Gifford.

Delhivery also has Times Internet, Tiger Global Management, SoftBank Vision Fund, The Carlyle Group, and Steadview Capital among its investors. With the help of its investors, the startup has raised around $1.23 billion so far.

Delhivery started operations as a food delivery system but later shifted to logistics full-time, with a footprint across 2,300 cities across the country and over 17,500 zip codes.

The company will also be investing $40 Million to increase its fleet size to meet the growing demand during the pandemic.

Delhivery has established itself as a leader in the logistics space and is looking at huge growth prospects with its upcoming IPO. My best wishes to the team of Delhivery.
