blockchain program

The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad, and The Digital University of Kerala (DUK), in partnership with the Kerala Blockchain Academy, has launched a digital education program called “Certified Blockchain Start-up Program” under “DUK Prajna”, an online learning platform.

This platform will benefit start-ups and founders in improving their abilities in the most advanced and cutting-edge digital technologies.

The 14-day program strives to provide the students with the information, attitude, and skills to efficiently deal with the possibilities at hand, problems, and difficulties regarding entrepreneurship.

It also provides information concerning the blockchain and technology space, which is becoming crucial for start-ups these days. The plan is to prepare the emerging talent with technology and skills in entrepreneurship.

The first batch of this new initiative will be rolled out with 35 participants on June 7, 2021. The course will be directed by experts of EDII and the Kerala Blockchain Academy (KBA), and admission will be granted on a first-come-first-serve basis.

KBA and EDII, operating under the leadership of Digital University Kerala, are also looking to introduce nuanced courses in blockchain technology. India’s first digital university, DUK was launched in February 2021 this year.

Saji Gopinath, Vice-Chancellor, Digital University of Kerala, said entrepreneurship can enhance the quality of living boosting the economic growth of the nation.

Blockchain has the potential to serve as a transformative technology. It can refine the talents with technology and skills to produce long-lasting entrepreneurs in the blockchain space, he said.

This is a great initiative by Indian institutes and will surely benefit several startups and entrepreneurs by equipping them with technological skills which are in high demand in the present time.
