Healthtech startup CoverSelf raises $4.8 million in funding from Beenext, 3one4 Capital

A cloud-based healthcare platform called CoverSelf with offices in San Francisco and Bengaluru said on Friday that it has received an initial investment of $4.8 million (about Rs 37 crore) from BEENEXT and 3one4 Capital.

The platform plans to increase operations and strengthen its sales, product, and technical teams in order to increase its footprint in the US.

According to a statement from the firm, CoverSelf, which was established in 2021, is a platform for healthcare claims and payment integrity, providing a framework for innovation while getting rid of administrative waste and duplication of efforts.

The inventor of CoverSelf, Rajasekhar Maddireddy, stated that the present claims integrity systems are quite complex and the used technologies are out-of-date. To fix the flawed system that is currently leading to out-of-control healthcare costs and waste, significant software innovation is required. An open and collaborative platform can greatly minimize the repeated administrative costs, which amount to billions of dollars yearly.

Co-founder of the business CoverSelf Raghavendra Pawar stated that they will use the money to build their platform, scale their business, and grow their sales, product, and technology teams in addition to expanding into the United States.

In order to invest in early-stage technology businesses from India, Southeast Asia, Japan, and the United States, BEENEXT was established in 2015.
