Mr. Jaimin Bhatt serves as both the Chief Financial Officer and President of Kotak Mahindra Bank, holding key responsibilities in overseeing the Centre Division and Support Division. In this capacity, he manages Finance, Tax, Strategy, Secretarial, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, Management Accounts, Legal, and Compliance. Jaimin is an integral part of the Bank’s Executive Board, actively contributing to the strategic direction and growth initiatives of the Kotak Mahindra Group.
Jaimin Bhatt’s journey with Kotak Mahindra began in 1995 when he joined the organization in the proprietary investments section. Over the years, he transitioned to investment banking and eventually led the M&A group. His versatile skills also led him to take on the additional responsibility of the primary dealer activity. Jaimin has been the Group Chief Financial Officer since 2002, showcasing his longstanding commitment and invaluable contribution to the organization.
With a career that commenced in 1985, Jaimin initially worked with the Godrej Group in the capacity of Manager – Project Finance. Subsequently, he gained experience with Indus Venture, a private equity fund, before joining Kotak Mahindra.
As a qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, Jaimin’s financial expertise and leadership have been instrumental in shaping the financial landscape of Kotak Mahindra for over two decades. His 21-year tenure with the Kotak Mahindra group is a testament to his dedication and proficiency in steering financial strategies that contribute to the group’s success.
