mHealth raises seed investment from India Accelerator
mHealth, a health and wellness startup, announced that it has raised an undisclosed amount in a seed round led by India Accelerator.
As per the official statement, the round also saw participation from HNIs and industry veterans including Govind Rao, Vikram Gupta, Alok Mani among others.
Established in 2020 by Rajesh Munjal, along with Monika Garg and Balwinder Singh, mHealth provides an AI-powered community-based employee wellness platform to businesses. It helps client businesses organize focused groups, fitness activities, employee assistance programs, care programs, challenges, and wellness camps with a single platform.
It is targeted at increasing employee engagement and productivity by ensuring the mental and physical well-being of employees. The Delhi-based startup claims to have catered to Global Insurance, Aegon Life, Wiley, IDFC Bank, Airworks among others.
mHealth plans to use the freshly raised funds to further enhance the platform, improve customer experience, and create a larger stack of wellness services on the platform.
Speaking about the funding, Rajesh Munjal, Co-founder, and CEO of mHealth said, “Every individual is different and it is important that employee’s experience should be personalized, meaningful, and delightful yet connected. At the end of the day, employees are the most important assets for the growth of any organization.”
Commenting on the investment, Anjan Bose, Lead Advisor, healthtech vertical at IA said that the startup can address the problem of employee engagement and help employees in overcoming adverse lifestyle conditions through its solution.
mHealth also disclosed that it is planning to extend its services internationally and is also in discussions to raise its next round of funding in the upcoming months.
Mona Singh, Co-founder of India Accelerator, said that the pandemic has now transformed the way corporates look at employees’ wellness.
“The future of work is going to be hybrid, and it is important for corporates to engage and ensure the wellbeing of employees. We see immense potential in mHealth and look forward to seeing the company disrupting the employee-led wellness space,” she adds.
mHealth seems to be making great progress in the health and wellness space. I’m sure the company will continue to reach new pinnacles of success in its journey ahead. My best wishes to the team of mHealth.Shishir Gupta, Founder and CEO, StartupLanes
