Nutshell Software funding: raises £1.2 million


The UK based tech company Nutshell Software raises £1.2 million from Northern Venture Capital Trust Funds and the North East Venture Fund. 

The company is planning to use the funds for the development of products and the expansion of the team.

Founded in 2017 by Martyn Cuthbert with an aim to help companies to develop their own mobile app (both android and iOS) without any coding required. This platform is already used and trusted by some well-known private and public organizations. The team comprises of 12 members as of now and is expected to employ 40 more people.

The global mobile application market size was valued at $106.27 billion in 2018, and projected to reach $407.31 billion by 2026. According to Statista report 2017, mobile users downloaded 178.1 billion apps which are expected to rise up to 258.2 billion in 2022.
