Podcast Startup KuKuFM Raised Funds


Mumbai-based podcast startup KuKuFM has announced that it has raised an undisclosed amount of Venture Capital funding from the following VCs: 3one4 Capital, Shunwei Capital, and India Quotient.

podcast is an episodic series of digital audio or video files that a user can download in order to listen. Alternatively, the word “podcast” may refer to the individual component of such a series or to an individual media file.

With 700+ podcasts, KuKuFM has grown into a family of 350K+ happy listeners and 500+ creators in only 8 months. People lose countless hours to mundane activities such as commuting, chores and aimlessly staring at their phones. What if they could turn these little blocks of un-allocated time into a mind-space well filled? These are moments of learning, joy, reflection and even memories. Their goal is to democratize audio content. By providing production, distribution and marketing support, they want to empower creators to monetize their content, grow their audience and connect with their fans through their platform.

Lal Chand Bisu is the Co-Founder & CEO at KukuFM. He was the lead Engineer at Toppr before startup KuKuFM. He holds a B.Tech in Electrical degree from IIT Jodhpur.
