S. Sreenivasan has been serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Bajaj Finserv since September 2011, where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing various responsibilities, including managing the insurance business, engaging in strategic and government discussions, crafting annual operating plans and long-range strategies, conducting reviews of insurance operations results, and supervising Bajaj Allianz Financial Distributors Limited operations. As a distinguished leader, he is also an active member of the Investment Committee and Risk Committee.
In addition to his role as CFO, S. Sreenivasan has been associated with Bajaj Finserv Ltd. as the President (Finance) since September 2011 and took on the position of Chief Financial Officer from October 1, 2014. Beyond financial leadership, he extends his responsibilities to the oversight of insurance and stock broking businesses on behalf of Bajaj Finserv.
S. Sreenivasan, a qualified professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Kerala, holds diverse credentials, including being a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute, Virginia, USA), and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. With a rich background, he brings forth a wealth of experience gained from leadership roles in Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company and Bahrain National Holding Company, where he excelled in managing Corporate Finance, Planning, Management Accounting, and Taxation functions. Currently serving as the Chairman of the Company, S. Sreenivasan continues to contribute significantly to the success and strategic growth of Bajaj Finserv.
