Samir Srivastav, Ayaz & Rahim Kabani, Lalit Keshre, Vishnu Tambi, Rohit Gothi, Divej Wadhwa, Anuj Gupta, Dhiraj Singh Chauhan, Prateek Jaiswal, Pushkar Raj Tiwari, Milind Torney, Prashant Jain, and Nitesh Nagdev participated in the funding round for the SaaS platform DINGG, which was led by BIG Sun

According to the company’s press release, the money will be used for acquiring new customers, expanding automation capabilities, entering the beauty and wellness market, and developing new tools for a more effective user experience.

Santosh Patidar and Aksay Poorey established DINGG, which offers SaaS solutions for managing operations. The operators of salons and beauty parlours can manage booking, billing, personnel management, marketing, and other tasks using a similar platform to Posist. Among many others, DINGG is in competition with Salonist, GlamPlus, and StayGlad.

While major salon setups in metropolises and tier I cities have begun to adopt software and the internet, salon setups in smaller cities have not yet been affected. Therefore, providing software to these companies is a huge opportunity. In the past, players like Vyomo and MyGlamm entered the market during the 2014–2015 period in an attempt to capitalise on this, but they were unsuccessful.

The market leader is Zenoti, which creates software for major spa and salon businesses. The unicorn-status startup, financed by Tiger Global, has a $1.5 billion market cap as of December 2020.

SaaS driven business management solution to run your salons/spa hassle free! Manage bookings, inventory, leads, POS, marketing & clients at one place.
