Samosa Singh received INR 20 Crore

Samosa Singh, a Bengaluru based food startup, raised INR 20 Crore in a Series A round led by She Capital. Many other global startups also participated in this round. Samosa Singh is a startup born out of Indians’ love for snacks, especially samosas. Samosa Singh sells versatile forms of samosas that appeal to the Indian taste. With the funding acquired by Samosa Singh, it plans to increase the number of orders by partnering with brands like INOX, PVR, Café Coffee Day and many more. The goal is to increase sales by expanding in different cities and becoming a major food startup across India.

Co-founder and CEO of Samosa Singh, Shikhar Veer Singh said, “Passion for our product drives everything we do, and we’re thrilled to have found a set of partners whose ideals align with ours. Their backing and experience will allow us to expand our presence pan-India and increase our production capacity manifold, enabling samosa lovers across the country to experience the change.”

The founders of Samosa Singh, Nidhi Singh and Shikhar Singh founded this startup in 2016. It was based in Bengaluru and currently has outlets in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The founders invested in research and development to create a product that was both healthy and tasty. The foundation of Samosa Singh is based on the innovation of gourmet snacks.

Founder of StartupLanes, Shishir Gupta said: entrepreneurship is all about creativity and innovation. Startups are essential because they try to enhance every product and service and make it better than before. Samosa Singh is a true example of how a simple snack item like samosa can be modified in so many ways according to the needs of diverse customers. The way Samosa Singh has used this freedom of innovation is commendable. Through this funding, they will be able to expand their customer outreach as well as open outlets in other parts of India. Many congratulations to the Team.

Food is one of the biggest potential sectors for social development and entrepreneurship. There is still a lot of scope for innovation and creativity in this sector.
