Sequoia led the $12 million Series B investment that Sigmoid closed.

Startup Sigmoid has raised $12 million from Sequoia Capital India for its Series B round of funding for data engineering and AI solutions. With this, Sequoia Capital India has now invested a total of $19.3 million in Sigmoid.

The company stated in a press release that the additional funding will support its ambition to develop its market offers, increase delivery options, and serve new sectors.

Lokesh Anand, Mayur Rustagi, and Rahul Kumar Singh founded Sigmoid in 2013, a company that creates dependable, scalable data pipelines and accelerators that give enterprises quicker access to business insights. In order to assist businesses in gaining a competitive edge through efficient data-driven decision making, it combines data engineering with AI consultancy.

Over 500 data specialists make up the Sigmoid team, which has extensive knowledge in data engineering, cloud data modernization, artificial intelligence, and data operations.

In addition to Byju’s, CRED, Druva, Five Star Finance, Freshworks, GoTo, Groww, Kopi Kenangan, Mamaearth, Pine Labs, Polygon, Razorpay, Truecaller, Zomato, and others, Sequoia Capital India and Sequoia Capital Southeast Asia actively collaborate with founders from a wide range of businesses across industries.
