Mr. Shobinder Duggal currently serves as the Director of Finance and Control and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Nestle India, bringing a wealth of experience accumulated over nearly 35 years within the Nestle organization, both in India and Switzerland. Prior to assuming the role of CFO and joining the board of Nestle in 2004, he held various corporate responsibilities, including serving as VP Corporate Control. In this capacity, he led internal audit, consolidation, and reporting functions at the Group level, handling significant assignments at Nestle’s global headquarters in Switzerland.
During his tenure, Mr. Duggal has contributed extensively to various facets of Nestle’s operations, including Investor Relations, Insurance, Controlling, Costing, Treasury functions, Payroll, Fixed Assets Management, and Operational & Financial audits. From May 2004 to February 2020, he held the position of CFO for the South Asian region of Nestle, overseeing IS and IT responsibilities.
Mr. Duggal currently serves as the Chairman of the Risk Management Committee and is a member of the Stakeholders Relationship Committee at Nestlé India Limited. Additionally, he has been a Board member of Nestlé Lanka PLC since January 2014, further illustrating his significant contributions to Nestle’s regional and international governance.
Educationally, Mr. Duggal holds a degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, and is a student of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in Mumbai. His commitment to continuous learning is evident through his attendance at an Executive Development program from IMD Lausanne, Switzerland, and various international courses from Nestle Training Centre, Lausanne, Switzerland, and the London Business School, UK.
