I am a DeepTech biotechnology entrepreneur and scientist with 12+ years of experience spanning recombinant protein engineering, enzyme development, genome integration, molecular diagnostics, protein purification and bioprocessing. I am a PhD in Therapeutic Protein Engineering from CSIR-IMTECH and has conducted postdoctoral research at the Weizmann Institute of Science. My expertise includes protein engineering, site-directed mutagenesis, enzyme optimisation, recombinant expression, purification, enzyme characterisation and diagnostic reagent development. I have hands-on experience translating enzyme technologies toward commercial diagnostic applications. As Founder & CSO of CitraGen Lifesciences, i am building indigenous recombinant enzyme technologies for healthcare and molecular diagnostics, with a focus on reducing import dependence, strengthening domestic biotechnology capabilities and creating scalable, affordable and cold chain free MNC grade products for the Indian and global markets.
