With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications and over a decade of experience spanning corporate and entrepreneurial ventures, she has honed expertise in market research, business operations, and strategic growth.

Her journey began in the corporate sector, working with Accenture, Convergys, and ENG, where she developed strong skills in communication, team management, and business strategy. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, she later founded Inventiv Insights LLP, a Shillong-based startup connecting institutional clients with global subject matter experts. This venture provided invaluable experience in managing complex business operations and fostering global partnerships.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted her business, prompting a transformative shift. Rather than returning to corporate life, Geneva, alongside her husband, chose to reconnect with her roots and build a business with a purpose. This led to the founding of Megha Mountain Organics, a venture dedicated to modern organic farming, sustainable practices, and women’s empowerment.

As the vision expanded, the business evolved into MeghEssence Organics Pvt Ltd, a tech-enabled organic farming enterprise specializing in high-demand spices. The company integrates vertical farming, soil-less cultivation, rainwater harvesting, and hydro-powered systems to revolutionize spice farming while maintaining a strong social impact focus, particularly in uplifting rural communities and empowering women.

Geneva is committed to bridging the gap between tradition and innovation, ensuring Meghalaya’s rich agricultural heritage thrives in a global market while creating lasting economic, social, and environmental impact.
