​In the early days of Veg Pick, "Farm-to-Fork" was a buzzword used by many, but practiced by few. Most companies still relied on centralized warehouses where vegetables sat for days. I spent months on the road, visiting farms at 4:00 AM, talking to growers, and understanding the rhythm of the seasons. I realized that to truly offer the best, we had to control the "First Mile."
​We built a model that prioritizes Direct Sourcing. By cutting out the five to six layers of middlemen typical in the traditional vegetable trade, Veg Pick ensures that produce moves from the soil to the doorstep in record time. This isn't just about speed; it’s about biology. When a vegetable is picked, its nutrient density begins to drop immediately. By shortening the transit time, we are literally delivering more vitamins, more flavor, and more life to our customers. This is the "Pick" in Veg Pick—a curated selection of the finest harvest, handled with the respect that food deserves ,​A tree is only as strong as its roots, and for Veg Pick, our roots are our farmers. One of my proudest achievements as a founder is the social impact we’ve integrated into our business model.
