I’ve worked in startup chaos and enterprise scale. Most founders only feel the gap between the two when something starts to break.

People issues rarely show up suddenly. They build quietly and by the time you notice them, they’re expensive to fix.

Scaling isn’t about choosing between speed and systems. It’s about knowing what to ignore, what to fix, and when.

Early on, instinct works. You hire fast, move fast, and things click.
Then something shifts. Speed starts creating friction. New hires don’t fully get how things work, and decisions take longer.

That’s when founders start asking: Do we need structure? Will this slow us down?

Done wrong, it will. Done right, it won’t.

I’ve built HR from scratch and worked inside large organizations - across Esper, Workplace Options, CGI, Wipro, and Unisys.

I’m also an ICF-accredited coach, so I won’t just tell you what to do-I’ll ask the right questions to help you figure out what actually makes sense for where you are.

I’m a father to a teenager who keeps me honest-reminding me leadership is about paying attention, not having answers.
