I am Naveen Kumar, an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the agricultural commodities and trading ecosystem. Through my journey in agri trading, I witnessed firsthand how farmers often lose value after harvest due to poor storage infrastructure, lack of scientific handling, limited access to finance, fragmented logistics, and weak market connectivity.
To solve these challenges, I founded VAAG SmartStorage Private Limited (https://www.vaag.ag) , an asset-light, SaaS-led agri infrastructure and technology platform focused on transforming traditional warehouses into smart, technology-enabled ecosystems using IoT, AI-driven monitoring, scientific storage practices, financing facilitation, and market linkage.
My vision is to reduce post-harvest losses, improve farmer profitability, enable better price discovery, unlock liquidity against stored produce, and build a more efficient, scalable, and sustainable agricultural supply chain for the future and reduce dependency on middlemen.
