About
Nikhil Sharma is the founder and CEO of VIZON, a deeptech company building advanced XR and AI hardware in India. He leads a full stack engineering effort spanning optics, electronics, firmware, XR design, AI development, manufacturing, and product strategy. He bootstrapped his deeptech hardware startup in India, funding the RnD all by himself in stealth.
With five years of hands on hardware development and seven years of software engineering behind him, he has shaped VIZON and built the most advanced consumer tech product in India.
Nikhil started coding at nine and has been building & designing ever since. 5 years ago, at sixteen he dropped out of school to fully focus on VIZON, committing to the mission that still drives his work today.
He often gets invited to speak at international tech events, like AWE Asia in Singapore, events in Guangzhou, China. And AR/VR Connect in the Netherlands.
He strongly believes in an open source approach, focusing on freedom, ethics & privacy. And aims to push humanity forward with technical innovation, solving major problems and disrupting industries, to eventually impact over a billion users globally.
