Hello,
My name is Shoaib ahmed. I am based in Delhi. I am the solo founder of OnnDuty. I have graduated with a Bachelor of technology in mechanical engineering. The idea for OnnDuty came from observing a very common problem that everyone faces in small businesses. I have seen businesses shut down because of this problem. Local businesses like restaurants, shops, cafes, small businesses and stores constantly struggle with hiring staff such as waiters, salesmen, helpers etc. While researching the market, I realized this is not the only problem which local markets and customers are struggling with, I personally faced some of these issues and no one is addressing them.
Skilled Workers struggle to find work and businesses struggle to promote themselves. Customers struggle to find trusted skilled workers on time. Workers not being available on time, last minute cancellation, rescheduling, emergency, unclear pricing, late night unavailability, lack of Accountability these are the most common problems faced by customers. I also noticed another major problem: small businesses have very limited digital reach.
