Wazid Mohammed is the Founder and CEO of BiteSize, an embedded insurance premium financing platform designed to make insurance more accessible and affordable by enabling SMEs and individuals to pay insurance premiums over time. Wazid brings more than 17 years of international insurance broking experience across the UK, India, Australia and the UAE, including experience with global insurance brokers such as Marsh. His career has given him extensive exposure to commercial insurance, insurance distribution, premium collection, client servicing and the operational challenges faced by brokers, insurers and customers. Wazid has worked on digital insurance and has personally managed the recovery of more than $7 million in outstanding insurance premiums. This experience provided first-hand insight into the significant cash-flow pressure that large annual insurance premiums can create for businesses and the limitations of traditional premium payment and financing models. Wazid holds a Master of Business from The University of Queensland and is focused on building BiteSize into embedded financing infrastructure for insurance, starting with the GCC and expanding into other emerging markets.
