InterLnkd, a London, UK-based travel industry’s intelligent shopping mall company, raised £1M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Vanneck Ltd., with participation from other angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth and international expansion.
Led by CEO Barry Klipp, InterLnkd provides a revenue solution that enables travel companies to earn a new and free revenue stream from the products their customers buy across fashion, beauty, and retail, for the holidays they have just purchased. Using its matching engine empowered by MotiVatedData™, it curates relevant products for a customer’s booking from over 20,000 brands, ranging from high-end labels to household names. The solution enables travel providers to earn a completely new and cost-free incremental revenue stream, via its white label technology.
The funding follows recent partnerships with travel brands including Thomas Cook, HolidayPirates, and LeShuttle (Eurotunnel).
