MFast, a Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam-based financial services platform provider, closed a USD6M Series A funding round.
The round was led by Wavemaker Partners with participation from Krungsri Finnovate’s Finnoventure Fund I and Headline Asia, as well as existing investors Do Ventures, JAFCO Asia, and Ascend Vietnam Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach, consolidating its market position throughout Vietnam, and going internationally by 2024.
Founded in 2017 by Long Phan and Vinh Phan, MFast allows customers to get access to financial services, including loans and insurance. As of August 2023, the company has built a network of more than 160,000 active associates and introduced financial service packages to more than 1,000,000 Vietnamese people.
Currently, MFast is present in all 63 provinces of Vietnam and has partnerships with domestic and international financial institutions such as UOB, SHBFinance, TPBank, VPBank, and Kasikorn Bank.
