Mumbai-based enterprise AI firm Fractal Analytics Ltd. has secured a multi-year agreement valued at over $17 million with a leading Fortune 500 U.S. healthcare enterprise. Listed on the BSE and NSE, the company will help modernize the client's Data and AI foundation on the Databricks platform to support its transition into an AI-ready organization.
As part of the engagement, Fractal will handle 24x7 managed data operations. This includes consolidating support from multiple vendors under Fractal as the single strategic partner. The initiative aims to improve operational efficiency through the integration of Agentic Ops, alongside creating a scalable, governed, and resilient platform designed to accelerate AI adoption, reduce technical debt, and optimize the total cost of ownership.
The agreement falls under Fractal's AI Foundations (AIF) technology pillar, which focuses on building AI-ready enterprises through modern data foundations, enterprise knowledge layers, AI governance, and managed operations. The engagement is part of Fractal's normal course of business with an existing client within its Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS) practice.
Matt Gennone, Chief Commercial Officer at Fractal and CEO of Cogentiq, noted that healthcare is entering an era where AI can assist organizations in making faster and more informed decisions across the care journey. Srikanth Velamakanni, Co-founder, Group Chief Executive, and Vice-Chairman of Fractal, added that moving from isolated pilots to enterprise-scale AI deployment requires robust foundations, noting that leading organizations are making long-term commitments to modernize data, governance, and operational foundations.
Fractal operates as a pure-play enterprise AI company with over 6,000 professionals across North America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific. The company's operations are structured around three pillars: AI-led Transformation (AIT), AI Foundations (AIF), and AI Work & Workforce (AIW), all powered by its flagship agentic AI platform, Cogentiq. The company invests more than 6% of its revenue in AI research and development, supporting foundational research, product development, and intellectual property creation.
"This multi-year contract highlights a broader enterprise trend where companies are moving away from isolated AI pilots toward deep, long-term infrastructure modernization. For service providers, securing deals that consolidate multiple vendors under a single strategic partner demonstrates strong client trust and recurring revenue stability. As enterprises increasingly demand measurable business outcomes from artificial intelligence, building robust data foundations and governance frameworks will remain a primary driver of enterprise technology spending." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
