For instance, India realizes an average mango unit value of $1.44 per kg, compared to $1.59 in Thailand and $2.65 in Egypt. This gap is compounded by domestic productivity deficits, such as average mango productivity lingering at 6.50 tonnes per hectare against a global benchmark of 15.83 tonnes.
