Tofu, a San Mateo, CA-based generative AI platform for creating marketing campaigns at scale, raised $5M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Index Ventures with participation from SignalFire, Stage 2 Capital and Liquid 2 Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Founded by Elaine Zelby, Eunjoon (EJ) Cho, and Honglei Liu, Tofu provides B2B marketing teams with a unified platform for creating campaigns at scale that converts leads. It leverages a company’s brand guideline and segmentation (personas, industries, accounts, keywords) and uses generative AI to create unlimited variations of on-brand content for ads, emails, social, landing pages, blog posts, case studies, sales enablement, and any other content needs. Tofu then analyzes characteristics of successful campaigns to recommend tactics to increase conversion on each channel.
Today, Tofu is in beta with a handful of enterprise customers.
