Chennai-based snacking brand, Sweet Karam Coffee, has secured $1.5 million in funding from Fireside Ventures to fuel its expansion efforts. Founded by Anand Bharadwaj, Nalini Parthiban, Srivatsan Sundararaman, and Veera Raghavan, the company is known for its range of South Indian sweets and snacks, boasting products free from palm oil and preservatives. They also offer filter coffee and ready-meal mixes.
The funding will be allocated towards expanding offline operations, entering new markets, and strengthening the regional product portfolio. Sweet Karam Coffee’s goal is to modernize traditional South Indian cuisine while providing a cultural food experience.
The company has experienced significant growth since 2020, doubling its annual revenue. This success is attributed to their online presence, with a website and app facilitating deliveries across India and 32 other countries.
With Fireside Ventures as a partner, Sweet Karam Coffee aims to tap into the substantial market for well-packaged South Indian snacks made with clean ingredients, both within India and overseas.
Sweet Karam Coffee is also making waves in the snacking industry! They just secured an amazing $1.5 million in funding to expand their operations and bring their delicious South Indian sweets and snacks to more people. Sending my best wishes to the Sweet Karam Coffee team!
