Mundial Media, a Los Angeles, CA-based media platform uniting multicultural voices, raised $2.0m in pre seed funding.
The round was led by a syndicate of family office investors, including New Day Industries, Barlow Family Investments, and executives from Amazon.com, Inc., UnitedHealth Group, and Prodege LLC.
The company intends to use the funds to scale its AI-enabled technology.
Led by Co-Founder and CEO Tony Gonzalez, Mundial Media provides a marketing platform that combines multicultural learnings with a data-driven system to create emotional connections. Its proprietary contextual engine, Cadmus AI, provides marketers with scale and reach that is culturally nuanced and differentiated. It targets audiences through first-party contextual technology rather than third-party cookies.
The team also includes CTO Ramon Cendejas, PhD, the first engineer and former SVP of Data and Technology; Adrian Ruiz, who led product and was an early employee; and Patricia Linares the former Corporate Development Director. They are joined by Mariana Magadan who previously led multicultural sales initiatives at Dotdash Meredith.
Mundial Media Raises $2.0M in Pre Seed Funding Best wishes to everyone in the group. This will be a huge accomplishment for them in the future.Shishir Gupta, The Founder & CEO of StartupLanes
