Founded in 2019 and led by Maxwell Brodie, CEO, Rain provides fire agencies with aerial wildfire containment technology. The company adapts autonomous aircraft with wildfire intelligence to perceive, understand, and suppress wildfires, which enables numerous aircraft to be prepositioned in remote locations resulting in accelerated response time.
This technology enables the prepositioning of firefighting aircraft in high wildfire risk areas and works with existing wildfire detection systems that remotely dispatch Rain-equipped aircraft as soon as ignition is detected, deploying the aircraft within seconds and reaching a nascent fire within minutes.
Rain, an Alameda, CA-based leader in aerial wildfire containment technology, closed a $9.7m seed financing. Best wishes to everyone in the group. This will be a huge accomplishment for them in the future.Shishir Gupta, The Founder & CEO of StartupLanes
