Missafir, a Turkish professional short/medium-term home rental management platform, raised an undisclosed Pre-Series A round.
The round valued the company at $26m. Ege Yapı Technology Ventures, the technology investment arm of Ege Yapı, one of Turkey’s largest real estate developers, joined existing investors in the fundraise.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its expansion into the European market and increase its technology development investments.
Founded in November 2018 by Mehmet Yüksel, Missafir provides a professional short/medium-term home rental management platform that allows homeowners to offer guests a 5-star hotel quality home comfort experience through services such as 24/7 communication, cleaning, and concierge. The company hosts guests in over 20 cities and over 90 districts across 4 countries.
Other key people in the team are Mehmet Onarcan, one of the first investors in and CSO of the company, and MissafirTech’s manager Mesut Çilingir.
