Savage Medical, a San Francisco, CA-based clinical-stage medical technology company, raised over $3M in total funding.

The saw participation from Synergy Ventures, Life Science Angels and AlwaysraiseVC.

The company intends to use the funds for its ongoing clinical trial of its ColoSeal System.

Led by Kenton Fong, M.D., CEO, Savage Medical is a clinical-stage medical technology company advancing ColoSeal System™, which enables minimally invasive colorectal tumor removal, eliminating the need for 2 open surgeries in today’s standard of care. The company has been selected as a UCSF Rosenman Innovator company, a MedTech Innovator company, and has been the recipient of both U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) and U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants.
