Recent market technical analysis has highlighted the short-to-medium-term outlook for several prominent listed companies, including Bharti Airtel, Power Finance Corporation (PFC), REC Ltd, and Alkyl Amines Chemicals, based on their current price charts and key support and resistance zones.
Bharti Airtel
Trading at ₹1,890, Bharti Airtel has experienced a downward trend since November 2025. However, a recent bounce from a low of ₹1,726 in September is noted as significant because it occurred just above the key support level of ₹1,700. For the outlook to turn bullish again, the current upmove must push the price above ₹2,030, which could increase the potential for the stock to target ₹2,500 in the coming months. Investors currently holding the stock at a purchase price of ₹2,044 can accumulate at current levels while maintaining a stop-loss at ₹1,660. The stop-loss strategy advises moving the threshold higher to ₹2,010 if the stock reaches ₹2,140, and further revising it to ₹2,180 and ₹2,320 as the price touches ₹2,280 and ₹2,440 respectively, with an ultimate exit target at ₹2,500.
Power Finance Corporation (PFC)
Power Finance Corporation trades at ₹316, following a bearish signal triggered by its fall below ₹360 in September. While some support exists in the ₹305-₹300 region, a sustained rise above ₹370 is required to ease downside pressure and potentially spark a relief rise to ₹430-₹460. Without a move above ₹370, the stock risks breaking down below ₹300, which could push prices down toward ₹260-₹250 or lower. Given that current chart price actions do not indicate a concrete signal for a rise above ₹370, investors who purchased at ₹474 are advised to exit the stock and accept the loss.
REC Ltd
REC Ltd shares, trading at ₹293.65, have exhibited a strong downward trend for over two years with no current signs of a bullish trend reversal. Broader downtrends remain intact, and the stock could potentially decline further to ₹250-₹245. A strong subsequent bounce might trigger a corrective rise to ₹300 or ₹350, while the ₹380 to ₹400 range serves as a crucial resistance zone. For a bullish reversal to be indicated, the stock must rise above ₹400, opening doors to revisit ₹500 and ₹600 levels. Because such a strong upward movement is considered unlikely without a strong positive trigger, current holders who bought at ₹480 are advised to exit the stock.
Alkyl Amines Chemicals
Alkyl Amines Chemicals is trading at ₹1,635, well below the purchase price of an investor who bought near the top at ₹3,985. The stock has experienced a downward trend over the past five years and faces the possibility of falling to ₹1,000. Turning the outlook bullish requires a strong rise above ₹2,200, which could then allow prices to advance toward ₹3,000 and higher levels. However, as this scenario appears unlikely for now, investors currently facing substantial losses are advised to exit the stock.
"This technical breakdown of established equities highlights the fundamental importance of disciplined risk management in investing. When technical indicators and support levels fail to show concrete recovery signals, holding onto losing positions without a stop-loss can severely impact capital allocation. Investors must evaluate market trends objectively, accept calculated losses when necessary, and prioritize capital preservation over emotional attachment to a stock." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
