Artificial intelligence startup Live2.ai has raised ₹130 crore (approximately $14 million) in a Pre-Series B funding round led by IvyCap Ventures, the company announced on Tuesday.
The financing round comprises both primary capital and a secondary component. According to the company's statement, the primary capital will be utilized to fund business growth, while the secondary portion provides partial liquidity to early shareholders.
Live2.ai operates as an AI-native social intelligence and commerce activation platform. The company has built an AI-native Social Intelligence Operating System designed to monitor brand conversations across major digital platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, X, and review sites. The system is built to convert these digital signals into actionable decisions for brands.
Detailing the deployment of the newly raised capital, the company stated that the funds will be used to accelerate the development of its agentic intelligence layer. Additionally, the company plans to scale its go-to-market strategies for enterprises and global consumer brands, while strengthening its regional cloud infrastructure across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Furthermore, a significant portion of the capital will be allocated toward expanding engineering, data science, and customer success teams across North America, Europe, Singapore, and India.
Commenting on the fundraise, Live2.ai Co-founder and CEO J Venkat said, "We are grateful to IvyCap Ventures for backing our conviction that social intelligence and commerce should not live in separate tools."
Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner at IvyCap Ventures, noted that social media has evolved into a primary channel for consumer discovery, evaluation, and purchasing. However, he pointed out that brands continue to rely on fragmented and manual tools to interpret and act on these channels.
"Live2.ai is building an AI-native operating system that turns real-time cultural signals into commerce, with the security and governance global brands require. With strong traction, significant revenue growth, and a scalable product architecture, we are excited to partner with Venkat and the team as they build this category from India for the world," Vikram Gupta added.
"This funding round highlights the growing investor confidence in AI-driven enterprise solutions originating from India for global markets. Live2.ai's integration of social intelligence with commerce addresses a genuine operational gap for global brands that often struggle with fragmented data tools. By securing both primary and secondary capital, the company not only strengthens its product architecture and cloud infrastructure across multiple geographies but also rewards early backers. Moving forward, the key to their success will lie in executing their global go-to-market strategy while maintaining robust security and governance standards for enterprise clients." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
