Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the establishment of a permanent AWS Builder Loft in Hyderabad, alongside similar expansions in Berlin and São Paulo. The initiative follows the launch of the first AWS Builder Loft in San Francisco in July 2025.
According to the company, the permanent community spaces are designed to offer free workshops, networking events, pitch nights, and content creation spaces. The locations will also feature collaboration and co-working areas, as well as event hosting facilities for developers, students, and technology professionals.
The Hyderabad Builder Loft aims to provide a dedicated environment for Indian developers to upskill in areas such as artificial intelligence and cloud-native architecture. AWS stated that the space will allow tech professionals to connect with peers who are building applications tailored for India and global markets.
Commenting on the global expansion, David Nalley, Director of Developer Experience at AWS, noted that the builder community has supported the company since its inception twenty years ago. Nalley stated that these physical spaces serve as an investment back into the community, enabling developers to collaborate, build, and learn from one another in person.
