Chandigarh University Signs MoUs with Multiple Companies for Internships and Placements in Legal Studies, Liberal Arts, and Sciences

CHANDIGARH, INDIA — Chandigarh University has announced a series of institutional partnerships through Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with leading companies and organizations. The collaborations aim to strengthen industry-academia engagement across the domains of Legal Studies, Liberal Arts, and Sciences by creating structured avenues for internships, placements, live projects, and specialized training.

To bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice, the University Institute of Legal Studies has partnered with SB Tech Associates, Magnus Legal Services LLP, and Khurana and Khurana Advocates and IP Attorneys. These collaborations involve the co-development and review of curricula to align with industry standards, alongside internship and placement opportunities ranging from one to twelve months. The partnerships also open channels for joint research, sponsored projects, consultancy assignments, and knowledge exchange.

In the field of Liberal Arts, Chandigarh University has established ties with Level UP PR, Mantrin, and Orient International School and Sports Academy. These partnerships bring print media, education environments, and sports administration into the academic ecosystem. Students will gain practical exposure through live projects, workshops, and expert lectures, supported by internship and placement engagements lasting between one and twelve months. The collaboration with Orient International School and Sports Academy additionally provides structured opportunities for teacher education programmes such as B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed.

Addressing the growing demand for specialized infrastructure in emerging sectors, the University Institute of Sciences has partnered with Foundation Futuristic Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (FFT) to establish a Research Centre for Digital Forensic Intelligence. The center will combine the university's physical infrastructure with FFT's proprietary software licences and tools to train students in digital forensics, crime investigation, and intelligence technologies. The arrangement includes internship and placement pipelines, faculty train-the-trainer certifications, and collaborative research initiatives.

Additionally, Chandigarh University has partnered with Choksi Laboratories Ltd in pharmaceutical sciences to provide students with practical exposure to analytical techniques, curriculum review, professional certification programmes, and career placements.
