Gold Prices Rise Across Major Indian Cities on September 1

Gold prices moved upward across major metro cities in India, according to market data for September 1. Across the country, baseline rates for 22-carat gold stood at ₹14,465 for 1 gram, marking an increase of ₹15, while 8 grams of 22-carat gold were priced at ₹1,15,720, up by ₹120.

In the national capital, Delhi, 22-carat gold was recorded at ₹14,485 for 1 gram (up by ₹15) and ₹1,15,880 for 8 grams (up by ₹120). Meanwhile, 24-carat gold in Delhi reached ₹15,209 for 1 gram (up by ₹15) and ₹1,21,672 for 8 grams (up by ₹120).

Financial capital Mumbai reported 22-carat gold at ₹14,435 for 1 gram (up by ₹15) and ₹1,15,480 for 8 grams (up by ₹120). The 24-carat gold in Mumbai stood at ₹15,157 for 1 gram (up by ₹16) and ₹1,21,256 for 8 grams (up by ₹128).

In Kolkata, 22-carat gold prices were listed at ₹14,535 for 1 gram (up by ₹15) and ₹1,16,280 for 8 grams (up by ₹120). The 24-carat gold in Kolkata was priced at ₹15,262 for 1 gram (up by ₹16) and ₹1,22,096 for 8 grams (up by ₹128).

Chennai recorded 22-carat gold at ₹14,385 for 1 gram (up by ₹15) and ₹1,15,080 for 8 grams (up by ₹120). The 24-carat gold in Chennai was priced at ₹15,104 for 1 gram (up by ₹15) and ₹1,20,832 for 8 grams (up by ₹120). Identical pricing for 22-carat and 24-carat gold was also observed in Hyderabad.

Bengaluru markets saw 22-carat gold priced at ₹14,495 for 1 gram (up by ₹15) and ₹1,15,960 for 8 grams (up by ₹120), while 24-carat gold stood at ₹15,220 for 1 gram (up by ₹16) and ₹1,21,760 for 8 grams (up by ₹128).
