Physical AI company WATER has raised $2.5 million in a funding round led by Endiya Partners. The capital will be used to support technical validation for its adaptive intelligent surface products, FLOW and CAMA.

NEW DELHI — Physical AI startup WATER has raised $2.5 million in a funding round led by venture capital firm Endiya Partners.

The investment round also saw participation from notable angel investors, including Pullela Gopichand, Chief National Badminton Coach, along with Swiggy Co-Founder Nandan Reddy and Darwinbox Co-Founder Rohit Chennamaneni.

Founded by Teja Vinukollu, who serves as Founder and CEO, WATER develops adaptive intelligent surfaces designed to interact with the human body. The company's technology is built around integrating intelligence into everyday physical surfaces.

WATER currently has two core products in its portfolio: FLOW, an adaptive chair, and CAMA, an adaptive bed. According to the company, these products are designed to sense, understand, and respond to the human body in real time.

Explaining the functional differences between the two offerings, Vinukollu noted that FLOW focuses on kinetics, which includes posture, movement, and load during seated interactions. Meanwhile, CAMA targets somnics, covering aspects of sleep, recovery, and respiration.

“Intelligence in the physical world should upgrade the human being at the centre of it. We call that layer Bio Physical Intelligence. The body is constantly telling the surfaces it lives on what it needs,” Vinukollu said.

The newly secured funds will be directed toward advancing the company’s technical validation efforts. This includes proving how the underlying model's understanding transfers effectively across different products and users.

"The investment in WATER highlights growing investor interest in physical AI and hardware-software integration that directly impacts human health and ergonomics. By focusing on everyday surfaces like chairs and beds, WATER is targeting practical applications of AI in the physical world. For an early-stage startup, securing backing from institutional investors like Endiya Partners alongside experienced founders provides strong validation. The key challenge ahead will be executing technical validation successfully to prove scalability across diverse users and use cases." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
