Pune-based vehicle manufacturer Force Motors has announced a partnership with Rosmerta Auto Recycling to provide its customers with access to authorised vehicle scrapping facilities. The collaboration aims to ensure proper documentation, depollution, dismantling, and material recovery for ageing vehicles.

Pune-based commercial vehicle manufacturer Force Motors has entered into a partnership with Rosmerta Auto Recycling to facilitate the scrapping of old vehicles at Rosmerta's facility. The announcement was made on Thursday through an official statement.

Under the terms of the collaboration, customers of Force Motors will gain direct access to Rosmerta's scrapping facility, establishing a defined route for retiring end-of-life vehicles. Eligible vehicles brought into the facility will undergo required documentation, depollution, and dismantling processes. This will be followed by the segregation and recovery of recyclable materials.

Rosmerta operates as an authorised Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) within the National Capital Region (NCR). The company provides environmentally compliant end-of-life vehicle recycling solutions, utilising advanced depollution, dismantling, and material recovery processes designed to support sustainable resource utilisation and India's circular economy objectives.

Additionally, both partners will work towards simplifying the overall process for vehicle owners who are looking to retire their ageing vehicles.

Commenting on the tie-up, Kartick V Nagpal, President at Rosmerta Group, stated that the partnership gives Force Motors' customers a clear route to an authorised scrapping facility. He noted that once a vehicle reaches the facility, it can be safely depolluted and dismantled, allowing materials such as steel and aluminium to be recovered for recycling and reintegrated into the wider manufacturing cycle.

Prasan Firodia, Managing Director at Force Motors Limited, highlighted the importance of responsible disposal as part of a vehicle's operating lifecycle. He stated that the association aims to provide customers with an authorised and dependable option when their vehicles reach the end of their useful life.

"The partnership between Force Motors and Rosmerta Auto Recycling highlights a growing emphasis on structured lifecycle management within the Indian automotive sector. As environmental regulations tighten and the circular economy gains momentum, established manufacturers must integrate sustainable disposal pathways for end-of-life vehicles. This collaboration offers vehicle owners a compliant and dependable route for recycling, ensuring that valuable materials like steel and aluminium are successfully recovered and fed back into the manufacturing cycle." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
