Siemens Healthineers Showcases AI and Connected Care Models at Hospital Management Asia 2026

Medical technology company Siemens Healthineers is showcasing its artificial intelligence, data platforms, and innovative technologies at the Hospital Management Asia (HMA) 2026 healthcare conference in Bangkok, Thailand. The event runs from September 1 to September 4.

During the conference and exhibition, the company is demonstrating how healthcare organizations can transition from individual technologies to connected care models. Key focus areas include deploying AI at scale, redesigning patient-centric care pathways, and utilizing data for personalized healthcare.

Fabrice Leguet, Managing Director ASEAN and Head of Enterprise Services Asia Pacific & Japan at Siemens Healthineers, noted the regional context. Healthcare systems across ASEAN face rising demand, workforce constraints, and complex patient needs, while digital technology creates new possibilities for care delivery, according to Leguet.

As part of its participation, Siemens Healthineers is hosting the second edition of the ASEAN CEO Summit on September 1 under the theme "Redefining Healthcare: Turning Innovation into Impact." The summit brings together healthcare leaders, policymakers, clinicians, and innovators to discuss implementing AI for clinical decision-making, hospital operations, workforce productivity, and clinical outcomes across disease areas such as cancer, stroke, cardiovascular, and neurodegenerative diseases.

On September 2, the company will host a media roundtable marking the formation of the ASEAN Stroke Advisory Board, which includes experts from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. During this event, Siemens Healthineers will release a regional report titled "Strengthening Stroke System Readiness Across ASEAN." The report outlines recommendations for improving stroke care pathways and features the Mobile Stroke Unit (MSU-8), developed in collaboration with the Siriraj Stroke Center, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, and RMA Automotive.

Visitors to the HMA booth can explore AI-enabled clinical pathways, experience an immersive VR demonstration simulating coordinated stroke care, and view digital technologies such as Facility Design Twinning, 3D Workflow Simulation, and the ActExcell Operational Twin. Additionally, platforms like Syngo Carbon IDM and eHealth Solutions are featured to demonstrate patient-data connectivity across departments.
