NEW DELHI — The Weverse Con Festival has chosen the Outdoor Expo Site at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, as the venue for its upcoming inaugural edition, scheduled for March 27–28, 2027. Announced on Monday, this marks the first time the festival will be held outside South Korea.
The event is designed to bring together international K-pop acts and Indian artists to perform before a shared audience, tapping into the expanding consumer base for Korean pop music within India. The international lineup features TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, Hwasa, Eric Nam, Bumzu, Dayoung, Lee Hyun, Rhea Raj, and Lara of KATSEYE. They will be joined by Indian performers Gini, King, RANJ X Clifr, Reble, and DJ Zelo.
Organizers have structured ticketing into five distinct categories. Prices begin at ₹2,499 for General Access, moving up to ₹4,999 for VIP, ₹6,999 for the Fan Pit, ₹7,999 for the Super Fan Pit, and reaching ₹14,499 for the Platinum Lounge tier.
Ticketing operations will be handled exclusively through BookMyShow. Additionally, Mastercard cardholders will have access to an early pre-sale starting October 27, prior to the opening of general ticket sales on October 30.
Yashobhoomi, recognized as one of India's largest convention and exhibition centers, was selected to host the event due to its scale and infrastructure capacity to manage large-scale international gatherings.
"The entry of international entertainment brands like Weverse Con into the Indian market highlights the growing economic value of the country's live events and entertainment sector. By leveraging large-scale venues like Yashobhoomi and local ticketing partnerships such as BookMyShow, global IPs are increasingly recognizing India as a high-potential market. This trend reflects shifting consumer preferences and opens up substantial commercial opportunities for domestic infrastructure and ticketing platforms." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
