Ceigall India JVs Secure ₹2,423 Crore Road Construction Orders in Arunachal Pradesh

Infrastructure development company Ceigall India announced on Thursday that its joint ventures have secured five Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH). The orders are valued at an aggregate of ₹2,423.70 crore and involve road construction on NH-913, known as the Frontier Highway, in Arunachal Pradesh.

As part of the wins, the company bagged a ₹274.08-crore engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) package. This project covers the construction of a road from 17.812 km to 55.377 km on the Bile-Migging section of NH-913. According to the company's statement, this particular project has been awarded to a joint venture between Ceigall India Ltd and Rajinder Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, where Ceigall India holds a 70 percent stake and Rajinder Infrastructure holds the remaining 30 percent.

The Bile-Migging project carries a construction period of 48 months, which will be followed by a five-year maintenance period.

In addition to this contract, Ceigall India secured four additional LOAs through its joint venture with Sushee Infra Mining Ltd. These orders are for the construction of Intermediate Lane roads across the Huri-Taliha and Sarli-Huri sections of NH-913, carrying an aggregate bid cost of ₹2,149.62 crore.

Taken together, the five LOAs span approximately 278 km of the Frontier Highway. The company noted that this development marks one of its most significant order-win windows on a single corridor.

Commenting on the development, Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman and Managing Director of Ceigall India, said that the five packages span nearly 278 km of intermediate lane road construction across demanding terrain.
