Travel platform EaseMyTrip has launched 'ReSave', a new flight add-on designed to monitor booked itineraries for fare reductions and return eligible savings to customers. The feature is part of the company's broader 'EaseMyTrip 2.0' strategy, alongside planned Agentic AI capabilities.

Travel technology company EaseMyTrip has announced the launch of 'ReSave', a new flight add-on that automatically monitors booked itineraries for fare reductions and passes eligible savings back to travellers.

Integrated directly into the booking process, the feature is designed to address the common traveller concern of flight prices dropping after a ticket purchase. According to the company, ReSave requires no manual tracking or action from the customer after the initial booking is complete. EaseMyTrip stated that 100 per cent of eligible net savings identified through the system are returned to the user at no additional cost.

Rikant Pittie, CEO and Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip, noted that the feature reflects a shift towards creating value across the entire travel lifecycle rather than focusing solely on the initial transaction.

The introduction of ReSave is part of the company's 'EaseMyTrip 2.0' strategy. This broader framework also includes the development of Agentic AI capabilities, which the firm intends to use to make travel services more proactive and personalised for users.

On the market front, shares of Easy Trip Planners Limited traded at ₹6.19 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday afternoon, marking a marginal increase of 0.98 per cent from the previous close of ₹6.13.

Despite the daily movement, the stock has faced downward pressure over a longer horizon. It has lost approximately 32.79 per cent over the past year and is down nearly 15.9 per cent year-to-date, underperforming the Nifty 50, which declined by 7.44 per cent over the same period. The company's total market capitalisation stands at approximately ₹2,470 crore.

Founded in 2008 and listed publicly in March 2021, EaseMyTrip operates on a zero-convenience-fee model and provides users with access to over 400 airlines and 2.9 million hotels globally.

"The launch of the ReSave feature highlights how consumer-facing platforms are leveraging product innovation to drive customer loyalty in competitive markets. By addressing a direct pain point like post-booking price drops without requiring manual user intervention, EaseMyTrip is attempting to differentiate its service offering. However, long-term success for listed companies depends heavily on translating such technological integrations into sustained financial performance and market value, particularly during periods where stock performance has lagged broader market indices." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
