Global software company IGEL has announced it is bringing the IGEL Now & Next Workspace & Endpoint Security Summit to Melbourne, Australia. The one-day event is scheduled for September 17, 2026, at the Park Hyatt Melbourne.
The Melbourne event extends the company's flagship Now & Next series following its five-city European roadshow earlier this year. The program brings together IT and security leaders to examine endpoint security, resilience, and secure workspace delivery priorities shaping enterprise strategy across the region.
According to the company, the summit arrives as organizations across healthcare, government, transportation, and critical infrastructure weigh the cost of replacing endpoint hardware against the need to keep operations running through disruption. The agenda features sessions led by IGEL executives, including CEO Klaus Oestermann and Managing Director and CTO Matthias Haas, who will address company strategy and the IGEL Adaptive Secure Desktop in contact center and healthcare environments.
Additional sessions will feature Sterling Wilson, Field CTO for BC&DR, addressing endpoint resilience and business continuity, and James Millington, Field CTO for Healthcare, EMEA, exploring clinical workspace delivery and IT/OT convergence. The program is complemented by perspectives from event sponsors and ecosystem partners, including Nutanix, NVIDIA, Omnissa, and UltrArmor.
Klaus Oestermann noted that customer feedback consistently points to a demand for stronger control at the endpoint, greater resilience during disruptions, and practical pathways to support current and emerging workspace models.
