Motorola Launches moto g max Smartphone in India Starting at Rs 26,999

Motorola has announced the official sale of its new smartphone model, the moto g max, across India. Positioned in the mid-range segment, the device carries an effective starting launch price of Rs 26,999, which includes available bank cashback or exchange and no-cost EMI offers.

The smartphone comes equipped with a 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery designed to provide extended usage on a single charge. Motorola claims the battery can support up to 3 days of usage and up to 63 hours of total operation, backed by a 33W TurboPower charger and a battery care system supporting up to 1,000 charging cycles.

Under the hood, the device runs on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and RAM Boost technology to manage multitasking and performance. It operates on Android 16 out of the box and includes integration with Google Gemini, along with security features such as Moto Secure, ThinkShield for Mobile, face unlock, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The manufacturer has committed to providing two guaranteed Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates.

In terms of optics, the moto g max features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera system utilizing Quad Pixel Technology, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP front-facing selfie camera. Photography software additions include Auto Night Vision, portrait enhancements, Adobe Scan, and Google Photos AI editing tools like Magic Eraser and Photo Unblur.

The display measures 6.72 inches, offering a Full HD+ resolution with a 120ْرefresh rate, Water Touch Technology, and up to 1050 nits of peak brightness. Audio capabilities are supported by stereo speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, dual microphones, and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.

Design-wise, the device incorporates a luxury satin-inspired finish using Pantone-curated colours, namely PANTONE Stargazer, PANTONE Alaskan Blue, and PANTONE Malaga. The build incorporates Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification, and an SGS-certified IP64 water-resistant rating.

The moto g max is offered in a single configuration featuring 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Sales commence from 12 PM onwards via Flipkart, Motorola.in, and leading retail stores across India.
