Procam International has announced a relaunch of 'HDOR - 100 Days of Running' in a new format aimed at building consistent fitness habits. Registrations open on National Sports Day, August 29, 2026, with the 100-day event scheduled from October 10, 2026, to January 17, 2027.

MUMBAI — Sports management company Procam International has announced a new avatar for 'HDOR - 100 Days of Running'. The initiative, which has been running for the past 11 years, is now part of the Procam portfolio and features an upgraded platform and wider reach.

Inspired by the Fit India vision, the event invites participants of all fitness levels and ages to engage in walking, running, cycling, or duathlons from any location. Registrations are set to open on India's National Sports Day, August 29, 2026, on the official HDOR website. The 100-day journey will commence on October 10, 2026, and conclude on January 17, 2027.

Commenting on the initiative, Vivek Singh, Joint Managing Director of Procam International, stated, "HDOR isn't really about 100 days of running. It is about using 100 days of movement to build a habit. You don't need to be fit to start. You start to become fit. Our vision is to make movement accessible to every household and, in doing so, contribute to the larger vision of a Fit India."

Organizers noted that India's digital adoption and high internet connectivity have created new avenues for individuals to track and sustain health routines. However, lifestyle-related risks also highlight the necessity of integrating physical activity into everyday life, aligning with HDOR's objective to make fitness flexible and inclusive.

As part of this edition, The Akshaya Patra Foundation—a direct implementation partner for the PM POSHAN program—has been named the exclusive Community Impact Partner. Through this collaboration, participants will have the opportunity to contribute toward providing hot, nutritious meals to children on school days, supporting their attendance, nutrition, and education.

The program is structured to remove traditional barriers to participation, welcoming senior citizens, first-time participants, families, corporate groups, and running clubs. Participants are also encouraged to sponsor individuals who may not otherwise have access to the event.

Founded in 1988 by the Singh brothers Anil and Vivek, Procam International is a sports management company involved in live events, sports consultancy, and live television production. The firm has conceptualized and promoted over 100 international events across disciplines such as distance running, cricket, football, tennis, and squash. Its prominent distance running events include the Tata Mumbai Marathon, Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, Tata Consultancy Services World 10K, and Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata.

"The relaunch of HDOR by Procam International demonstrates how established sports management companies can scale community-driven health initiatives by leveraging digital platforms. Integrating social impact through a partnership with The Akshaya Patra Foundation adds a meaningful dimension to participant engagement. For the business ecosystem, this highlights the growing viability of health and wellness properties that combine mass participation with social responsibility." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
