MUMBAI — Procam International has announced the launch of a new version of 'HDOR - 100 Days of Running', an initiative aimed at building consistent fitness habits. Now part of the Procam portfolio following its 11-year history, the platform has been updated with a wider reach and infrastructure designed to make fitness accessible.
Inspired by the Fit India vision, the initiative invites individuals of all age groups and fitness levels to participate through running, walking, cycling, or duathlons. Registrations for the upcoming edition open on India's National Sports Day, August 29, 2026, via the hdor.com portal. The 100-day journey will officially begin on October 10, 2026, and conclude on January 17, 2027.
Organisers note that the initiative leverages India's expanding digital adoption and internet connectivity, which now connects over a billion citizens. By combining technology with everyday physical activity, the platform aims to address lifestyle-related health risks and provide flexible options for regular exercise.
Vivek Singh, Joint Managing Director of Procam International, stated that the core objective of the initiative is habit formation rather than just running. He noted that participants do not need to be fit beforehand, as the program is designed to help individuals start from wherever they are and build lasting routines.
As part of this year's rollout, The Akshaya Patra Foundation has been named the exclusive Community Impact Partner. Through this partnership, participants will have the opportunity to contribute toward providing hot, nutritious meals to children on school days, supporting regular school attendance and child development.
HDOR is structured to eliminate traditional barriers to participation, welcoming first-time participants, senior citizens, families, corporate groups, and running clubs. Participants are also encouraged to sponsor individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity to join.
Founded in 1988 by Anil and Vivek Singh, Procam International is a sports management company in India involved in live events, sports consultancy, and live television production. The company's portfolio includes major distance running events such as the Tata Mumbai Marathon, Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, Tata Consultancy Services World 10K, and Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata.
"The evolution of fitness initiatives through digital platforms represents a practical approach to addressing lifestyle health challenges in India. By integrating community impact partnerships like The Akshaya Patra Foundation with scalable sports properties, companies can drive social value alongside brand engagement. For the sports management sector, leveraging technology to build long-term consumer habits offers a sustainable business model beyond one-off events." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
