Sports management firm Procam International has announced a revamped avatar for its 'HDOR - 100 Days of Running' initiative. Registrations for the 100-day journey open on National Sports Day, aiming to leverage India's digital adoption to promote consistent fitness habits.

MUMBAI — Sports management company Procam International has announced the launch of a revamped platform for 'HDOR - 100 Days of Running'. Operating within the Procam portfolio after an 11-year history, the initiative returns with an updated digital infrastructure intended to broaden its reach and accessibility.

The programme invites participants of all fitness levels to engage in physical activities such as running, walking, cycling, or duathlons. Registrations for the event open on India's National Sports Day, August 29, 2026, via the official HDOR website. The 100-day journey is scheduled to commence on October 10, 2026, and will conclude on January 17, 2027.

According to the company, the initiative aligns with India's growing digital connectivity, which now connects over a billion internet users. Procam notes that digital adoption allows individuals to track and sustain health habits more effectively, addressing lifestyle-related risks through flexible physical activity.

Vivek Singh, Joint Managing Director of Procam International, stated that the initiative is structured around building long-term habits rather than focusing strictly on performance. He noted that participants can start regardless of their current fitness level, contributing to the broader goal of a more active population.

As part of the launch, The Akshaya Patra Foundation has joined as the exclusive Community Impact Partner. Through this collaboration, participants will have the opportunity to support the provision of daily school meals for children, aiding school attendance and nutritional intake.

The platform is designed to accommodate various demographics, including first-time participants, senior citizens, families, corporate groups, and running clubs. Participants are also given the option to sponsor individuals who may not otherwise have access to the event.

Founded in 1988 by Anil and Vivek Singh, Procam International has a history of managing sports events in India, including properties such as the Tata Mumbai Marathon, Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, Tata Consultancy Services World 10K, and Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata.

"The relaunch of HDOR by Procam International demonstrates how established sports management firms can leverage digital adoption to scale community-driven initiatives. By integrating technology with social impact through partnerships like Akshaya Patra, the platform addresses modern lifestyle challenges while providing a structured framework for user engagement. For businesses in the health and fitness sector, this highlights the value of building long-term habit formation models rather than relying solely on one-off events." — Dr. Shishir Gupta, Founder & CEO, StartupLanes
